    Anyone use mobile gear?

Please post what you use (if any) in your vehicle..

For UHF I have a commercial Kenwood TK-840 25 watt mobile, and for VHF I use an ICOM IC2200H 65 watt radio.  Both have proven to be pretty sturdy and heavy duty in a mobile environment.

I have a yaesu 857d for hf/vhf/uhf. I also have an albino for 222. Have used these for a few years.

I'm using a Kenwood TM-V71a, 50 watt UHF/VHF dual-recieve ham radio with a Comet CA-2x4SR Search and Rescue antenna and I've been very happy with the set up. I keep hearing that the V71a is one of the best ham mobiles out there and is the gold standard that all future radios should aim to achieve. Also, I've heard that the 2x4 antenna is flat on 220mhz but I don't have a 220 radio yet to test it.
